I usually leave my bag in the car when I drop my DD off to my moms, but lock the doors, they can easy just smash the window...thanks for posting!

I dont understand the massive sarcasm? I mean, lets call a spade a spade, this is your fault. Yeah whoever stole it is a douche, but no one is to blame but you. You said you never do this, so why pick a day when you have your life in your bag, why leave it in the car? Getting mad at others, or the one person who didnt say "omg, im so sorry, its totally not your fault" just seems silly to me, especially when this could have been avoided. Jmho.
Because the point in my thread, as indicated in the subject line as well as the body of the message, in no way, shape, or form, asked: Was I stupid for doing this? OR Hey everyone - feel sorry for me.
I didn't even ask for "hugs". I didn't ask for or need sympathy.
It was, ahem.... a PSA. Which means "Public Service Announcement", which means - if you do this, don't, because here is what happens if you do.
I never questioned the stupidity of this. And the fact that I trusted the situation after 2.5 years means nothing.
JUST like women who get raped when they go running somewhere in a secluded place. If you feel it is necessary to kick people when they are down, then by all means, start a new thread to do it.
Don't start drama, or question why I'm responding the way I did, when the goal of this was to HELP other people avoid this HELL I am going through.
If you don't see the point of that, and saw it as an opportunity to ask me this question AGAIN, when you also responded on my FB page in the same manner (which you won't have the opportunity again as I continue to spring clean my "friend" list) then I really don't know what to tell you.
If you want to FM other people that I'm an idiot, or FM me, then that is a better forum to do so than on a thread where I am reminding people not to make the mistake I made. Plain and simple.
THAT is why I responded with sarcasm. That, as well as the fact that I am really not in the best of moods for some reason.
If you need me to spell it out more clearly, please let me know.

Oh, boo hoo. Bigdeal, i wont get a daily work out update. And yeah, i asked again because i cant see how someone who claims to be so bright with EVERYTHING you do, can be so stupid and leave all thst shiit in your car. So guess you learned your lesson.

Really, I am not going to argue with you. Sorry I worked out too much for your liking  
And if you REALLY wanted the answer, you would have messaged me privately. I didn't know you had such a problem with me that you wanted to make some public point about me and my "stupidity." But it looks like you must feel a lot of the women who responded on here are stupid as well, since they said they were guilty of doing the same thing.
I guess that really meant a lot for you to point that out about me. (And why didn't you remove me from your "Friend" list if my posts annoyed you so much  ) but that's neither here nor there.
Thank you for amusing me enough to take me out of my head for a few minutes. Time to jump back in....
And - to everyone else who might get something out of this:
Ignore this little trademarked LIF deviation into drama, and be sure to lock up your stuff, or hide it, or take it with you whenever you can.

Thank you for the PSA, This hits home as carrying both girls and their stuff to and from daycare daily and I leave my bag in the car everyday and sometimes in plain site. I lock it when I remember but Im sure there are days when I don't. I will make some changes starting today.
Im so sorry this happened to you and I hopeyour possessions are reovered.

Wow, I'm sorry this happened to you. It really hits home-- I sometimes leave my stuff behind when I do preschool dropoff and pickup. I usually lock my car but I'm sure I forget from time to time. It's so easy to get lulled into a false sense of security when you just do quick trips in/out of a familiar place.

Thats what they told me this morning. I saw the director talking to the police in the parking lot when I pulled up.
So I asked the woman at the front desk what was going on and she told me that a bunch of people got robbed in the parking lot last night when they were picking up their kids. She didnt give me numbers but said "a bunch" and that "a lot" of stuff was taken.
I'm sure there will be a letter with the kids tonight when we pick them up giving us the full story.
Again, I'm so sorry it happened to you!

Don't just lock your vehicles either. Several people at my old day care had their windows smashed within minutes just to get to bags that were visible. Put them in your trunk or bring them in with you.
