Daycare moms of infants, question regarding sending in meals
For those of you who send breakfast in with DC. Does the daycare prepare the cereal for you? DS will be starting daycare on Monday and I'm not sure how to send it in. He takes his cereal mixed with BM so should I just put the BM in a small bowl with lid and the 2 tbsp of cereal in a ziplock bag for them to mix in with the BM after it's heated?
Any other tips regarding preparing food/bottles ahead of time for daycare? Labeling, etc??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I mix the cereal ahead of time and they just heat it up for her. Definitely make sure that you label everything that you send in. Even with labeling I still get other kids' bottle parts and bibs sometimes.

Re: Daycare moms of infants, question regarding sending in meals
My daycare wouldn't prepare anything with BM. It was easier for me to leave a container of cereal there and have them prepare it with water. I'd try to call them up before you drop DC off and ask them about their policies on handling BM.
We made our own food so I'd send in several frozen cubes. I'd label the ones for breakfast and lunch. When DS was ready to eat, they defrosted the food in the crockpot.

how far in advance did you mix it? that morning or the night before? I wasn't sure if it would still reheat alright being mixed in advance.

Re: Daycare moms of infants, question regarding sending in meals
I always sent in a bottle of BM on Monday that had enough for his cereal for the week. I left an empty bottle there, and each morning, they would just pour the amount needed into the empty bottle and heat it in the bottle warmer. Each day, I sent in 2 tbs of cereal in a bowl with a lid and they would mix the warmed BM in.

DS has a container of cereal there and they measure out his portion for him. We measure the formula out for it.

ask your daycare, but you can probably send in a container of cereal for daycare and you can always send in your BM.
at my place, I can send in frozen BM and they will thaw and give it to him. they prepare his breakfast.
i send in oatmeal and they prepare it with water (my request) and I also send in a small container of milk with a sprinkle of cinnamon and they add that too
