Daycare Problem - WWYD?

DS goes to daycare and everytime he comes home he reeks of old lady perfume! It's so strong that he still smells after a bath.

There's a daycare provider who must douse herself in perfume before coming to work everyday.

Would you say something about it to the daycare director?

And how? I'm trying to find the best way of bringing this up w/o getting the perfume lady in trouble. :(

I have the same exact issue only it's not DS's regular teacher. She's in the other infant classroom and only once in a while when there's not a lot of kids they put them together. I always know b/c I can smell the perfume and I hate it.

The first time I said something b/c I picked up DS and I'm like... wow, all I smell is perfume. SHe apologized and said it was her. She stopped wearing it b/c other parents complained, but it still must be on her clothes.

What?! Does she spray the closet or wash her clothes in that perfume?

I would say something to the director. Mention you have noticed it, and say it can bother your DS.

tell the director that it bothers you and you're afraid DS may have inherited that allergy from you

i would say something. bring it up the the director, they will do there best to solve the issue.

Same here - I always smell perfume on my DS from the 2 ladies who work in the baby room. Luckily it is not that strong or offensive to me, but I always feel like a mama bear - I smell other people on my kid! I would probably just mention it to the director and let her handle it.
