Decorating your Bathroom for the Holidays...
I was watching rate my space on HGTV a couple of weeks ago and on the commercial breaks they were showing pictures people had posted online of their holiday decor. Well one woman showed how she decoarted her bathroom and the two HGTV correspondants from RMS were gushing over the fact that she thought to decorate that room.
I though this was odd b/c my mom has always decorated with towels and such.
Are we in the minority? Does anyone else include their bathroom when they decorate for the holidays?

I put out towels and a couple of small decorations in the bathroom.
ETA: I was watching HGTV yesterday morning and someone had decorated their bathroom. They had a old tub with the feet on it and the whole tub had different color glass ornaments in it. Sooo cute! I guess they don't use that bathroom too often.

That's the room they showed when I was watching! I thought the same thing. Then I thought, "wow, I wish I had a bathroom large enough to hold a claw foot tub that's just "for show" and some place else to shower"!

I always decorate the bathroom. I decorate every room though.
Bathroom gets Christmas soap dispenser, towels, red bows, and figures on the shelf.

We just put some holiday hand towels, a santa soap dispenser and a small snow globe on the counter.

My mom has always done holiday towels, candles and soap dispensers in the bathroom, and gave some of the towels she didn't want anymore to us so we have some too!

I don't just b/c I don't have anything to put in there, and just haven't bought any towels or soap dispenser.
But I have a question, the other day I was thinking that I probably wouldn't do it anyway b/c Christmas colors don't match the colors I have in my bathroom. So if you do decorate your bathroom, does it match the decor you already have in there??
For example one of my bathrooms is painted purple, I think sticking red and green towels would look silly, no??

I never match my decorations to a room's decor.
In any case - I think red, green and purple look nice together (a deep purple, deep red, deep green).

I have a few things in my bathroom. I have a really cute Santa nightlight that I bought a few years ago. When the bulb heats, it bubbles like a bubble light!

my mother decorates every room for the holidays, except her childrens bedrooms. i don't have holiday decorations yet so all i have in my bathroom is decorative soap.

Usually I would use gilded and maroon items in the bathroom to dress it up a bit, but this year I bought holiday handtowels with Santa Claus' mug on it for DD's enjoyment.  I also have a couple of Americana santa ornaments that I took the strings off of and placed them on my shelves, along with a yankee candle (which I burn when guests are here.)
ETA: If I had a large bathroom, I most definitely would have evergreen roping and the like in there!!!!

Same here! I don't celebrate Christmas anyway.
I'm a seasonal decorator in my bathrooms. Towels that "match" the season (rust color for fall, etc...), scented candle, or reed diffuser.

I love, love decorating for Christmas, so of course I include my bathroom. I decorate my bathroom I change my shower curtain, frames on the walls, towels, etc.
