He's not taking off.
DH works only off commission, so no work, no pay...he can do some work from home (hospital) which he will probably do for the most part. But we have my parents and DH's parents that will take care of my DD while I am at the hospital.
same here.

Re: DHs time off when baby is born
DH works for a small company without any paid paternity leave, and gets 2 weeks off standard. He's going to try and get 1-2 weeks of unpaid leave to use for paternity leave when the baby is born.

Re: DHs time off when baby is born
When DS was born he took of 2-3 days, in addition to the time he took when I was in labor...so maybe 5 days total.
With this one, we have to talk about it. Depending on when my C/S is scheduled for and how I do with it. I will have some more support now that my parents live close by.

Re: DHs time off when baby is born
no idea. don't know if he gets any leave (ncpd) but we'll find out soon. he has plenty of vacation time if needed. plus he doesn't really work that many days (3-4 days per week).

Re: DHs time off when baby is born
My hubs took month off last time, hoping he can do the same this time. He's using sick time, vacation time, and personal days. Ends up being round 40 days.
