Did anyone have to get a rhogam shot?
I'm really not clear on why I had to have one but dear lord it hurt and it was a complete shock that I had to get it in the butt.

You have to get it when you are pregnant, give birth or have a D&C/Termination because of your blood type.
Your blood is RH Negative and your DH is RH Positive so you need the shot.
PS When you have a baby, if the baby is your blood type you won't need to get another shot.
