Did anyone's child have joint pain or limping after the MMR?
My 4 year old has been complaining of leg pain the past 2 days, and today she started limping. It all of a sudden occurred to me that she had her MMR last week, so I googled it and sure enough a lot of people commented that their child had difficulty walking after the shot. We are going to the doctor tonight, but wanted to see if anyone had ever experienced this?

My DD became very clumsy after her first MMR, but since she was 12mo she couldn't really tell me what was wrong. My Ped said that joint discomfort was a common side affect--and it did eventaully go away and she was fine. Nerve wracking though!!

omg. my daughter was unable to walk after her mmr shot. it happened 10 days after the first vaccine & scared the hell out of me! the dr said it was not because of the shot. i did my research and saw that a lot of moms complained of the same side effect.

Hope you reported it to VAERS. How scary!! And shame on your doc for dismissing you!!

I did end up taking her to the doctor and the doctor did say the MMR was a possibility. It really seems like it was a side effect of it, which is very scary. I still appreciate the benefits of the vaccine, but never knew something like this was a possibility.
