My BFF when I was a kid, her parents had a station wagon. We used to LOVE riding backwards!!

My mom had a mini-van when we got older.

As for us, we both drive SUVs.

Nope, my parents never had a station wagon or a minivan. As the youngest of 3, I always got the middle seat in the back between my two brothers when we all went somewhere together.

My parents had a minivan. I loved it! I actually drove it for a while after HS before it died We are absolutely getting one

I was one of 6 kids. YES, my parents had a station wagon. And growing up, my parents only had 1 car.... My dad would take it to work and my mom was home with us with no car. I can't even imagine these days!

As for me,, I will NEVER own a station wagon or mini van. I have a CUV now with a 3rd row and that will suit or needs for a long time!

My parents had both at different times. The station wagon wasn't too bad, but I HATED the minivan and swore that I would never, ever get one. Still plan to stand by that promise!

I have 3 kids and I have a minivan ,and I need and love all the room in it, especially for road trips !

Yep both. My dad always had smaller cars, but my mom had a station wagon, then traded it in for a mini- van, and now even though it's just them and their pug, they have a new mini van.

They didn't have mini vans when I was a kid-so we had a station wagon and eventually a sedan.

Now, our family car is a minivan-I love it, and I don't care what anyone thinks of me be cause of that

We had 4 people & a Toyota Corrolla followed by a Tercel (I think)

When the 1st one died we got a used 1976 Chevy station wagon, but I think that was more for my dad's frequent trips to Chanel than the kids.

My firend has 3 kids & she lvoes her mini van. She said it was th eonly thing she could fit 3 car seats in & now the kids can get in themselves, she doesn't have to lift them like she would in an SUV.

I would like to get an SUV type car. Like the Acura RSX or something along those lines. My friends with kids say the extra room is helpful for stroller and other kid accesories.

Isn't the RSX the small 2 door car?

My parents had a station wagon, then my mom had a minivan.

I definitely plan on getting a minivan if we have kids. They're so convenient.

In the 80s, my parents had a station wagon. It was then stolen outside of a courthouse when my dad was on duty (he was a PO).

Since then, they have had a min-van.

For my parents, it was a necessity as they had 5 children and the only way to fit all of us in a car was to buy a mini-van/station wagon.

I, however, do not plan on owning one.

My mom had both at different points during my childhood! She had the biggest car so by default she was always the parent that carpooled me and my brother and our friends everywhere.

We grew up in Queens a half mile from the 7 train. We walked, took the bus or the train everywhere. My mom didn't even learn to drive until we moved to LI when I was 13. My dad still doesn't drive. We did have a station wagon at one point but I think they only got it because it was cheap.

My DH had a station wagon way before we had kids. It's a Subaru imprezza wagon and that car is awesome.

No. Mom had a Cadillac and then an Eldorado. Dad usually drove small cars to work. We took vacations in the Caddies and we brought the dog with us. Fun times!!!!!!

yup. a station wagon and then when that went, a minivan. my mom still drives one - she's used to them and likes them.
