Yesterday it was reported on the news that 131 million people will now loose their healthcare because of new restrictions. It will force them to join Govt health care. In addition, most people pay 30% of their salary in taxes. It looks like this percentage will move up to 50%. That is just insane! I cannot afford to loose 20% of my salary.

To be honest- I don't even really know what he's DONE so far...
I know what he's done so far...
apologized to the Muslim world and to all of Europe, bascilaly telling the world "we suck, we're the bad guys" 
and he's also managed in a few short months to TRIPLE the national defict.
do I approve? hellllllll no
spend spend spend... keep writing those checks Mr. President and Congress   who cares right? it's only money... it's going to drive the dollar to junk status. no worries, we'll just ask China for even more money

Disapprove.
I really don't care what happened before his term began (which he'll use as his never-ending excuse foreverrrr), the choices he has made since he took office are atrocious. That ridiculous "stimulus" package filled to the brim with pork was out and out absurd. He was the main push for that bill to go through. Everything else aside, I just can't believe he even did that - forget trying to approve of his actions. I'm just in shock. I try not to think about it - that helps.
Don't even get me started on healthcare.
I absolutely agree. I was so shocked when he did that...change my azz...he is a politician like the rest of them.

Too early to tell, IMO. I think those that didn't like him in the first place will disapprove and those that liked him are giving him time to "do" his jobs, which take time.

Completely agree. I didn't vote for him, and after he was elected, I wanted to really "believe" in him, but alas, I don't. Not after what he has done so far.

This guy loves spending money and handing out money and people and companies love taking the money but who do they think is going to be paying for it in the long run, us!!!!!
I think this country is going to be in worse condition when his term is over.

you know what? I wish he had done nothing in the 7 months since he took office. our deficit is now 3 TIMES what it was under Bush - and has been since April. so in 3 months, Obama tripled it!
he and congress are writing checks 4 generations from now will be paying off!

Ditto, but I'm on the fence still because I really don't think six months is nearly long enough to tell whether or not he's doing a good job.
Quite honestly, how could he really know what he was in for until he took the office? People need to be patient. I'm sure he thought things were going to be one way and found out quickly that things weren't quite what they seemed. I would imagine being president of our country is a big mess that takes some time to sort out.

I agree... i think many people that voted for him either didn't understand his view points on things and just voted party lines OR didn't think he would be so extreme.

It's obvious that those that didn't like him from the start are ready to pounce. He hasn't had enough time. I voted for him thinking he was the best option. I firmly believe he was. If he turns out to be a mistake (there have been mistake presidents) then I still believe he was the best choice at the time. This country is going through something huge, and I have to have faith in the american people to fight for what they believe. People should stay as informed as possible (I certainly could be more informed at times). There are so many ways to be in the know, no excuses. I'm pretty scared, I gotta admit.

Pretty much. Lots of unrealistic expectations out there.
People like to blame alot and point fingers without understanding how the country functions passings bills, laws etc. Its always the President as a singleton NOT the cummulative elected officials. Although I despised Bush and thought poorly of him I understood he didnt act alone just like ALL our presidents good or bad. But alas the President is always the scapegoat, few people look around to see who really is to blame.
