Country.

I can't wait to move away from the concrete jungle to someplace MUCH more rural.

i would LOVE to live in the city - everything moves so much faster there, i love the idea of public transportation being the "norm," and being able to walk everywhere. plus i love that there is always something to do!

the suburbs have never really been my thing. if i could afford to move to NYC - and if DH would agreee to it - i would go in a heartbeat!

Definitely city. I grew up in rural PA, moved to rural VA for college and could not wait to hightail it to NYC.

COUNTRY!! I want at least 10 acres (but 100 would be better) and don't want to see anyone. I live 'in the woods' in Eastern Suffolk and it's waaaay too crowded to me!

It's a nice area though!

I just remember I tried to come in the daylight when I go out there. I am scared to be lost and nobody will even find me. Chat Icon

Country 100%. I can't stand crowds....can't stand neighbors too close. I like my peace and quiet, having wildlife in my backyard, etc.

Country!!!! I LOVE Wyoming and would love to move there, but it's too far from family. Chat Icon

DH and I have been discussing moving to PA, buying 50+ acres and building a home so we can have horses. The idea is to build separate homes for our parents on the property as well.

City. I like to people watch, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city. I enjoy the camping, kayaking, etc. But for everyday living, I like the city, or at least being close to a city.

I have to say City girl here. I've lived on LI all my life and feel content knowing that "the city that never sleeps" is a mere hop, skip, and a jump away. I'd go crazy living out in the country where you're so removed and have to drive a while before you find any life.

It's all or nothing with me - city and country. I can do both.

Hate suburbs though.

Edited for spelling

100% city girl! I love that I can walk to do my food shopping and that I don't need to drive everywhere I need to go.

I would say that, for that reason. But....honestly, I can't really say for sure. I guess I'm a suburban girl that wishes she lived closer to Babylon Village so she doesn't have to drive to buy things, but doesn't want to pay the taxes.

OH and by the way I haaatttteee the country. I can only do a couple days but it can't be in the wilderness.

Re: Do you consider yourself a "City" person or a "country" person?

I am 100% suburbs.

I live in a fantastic one currently. I have EVERYTHING in walking distance and can see the city skyline(even though small) from my window.

I have close airport access, arenas...great restaurants, museums, TONS of parks.

city is great, but I need a yard. I like to turn the music up while I clean.

I can never survive in country seclusion.

I love the 'burbs. Living around people who I have things in common with.

Suburbs. Country is too desolate. City is too dirty and busy for me.
