Ehh, it depends. If they keep talking about the same things over and over and over and don't listen to any advice, then I get annoyed.
If it's a quick discussion and I offer advice and they don't take it I don't care.

I voted no.
Your wording in the question really says a lot to me. "Do you get upset when someone doesn't take your parenting ADVICE"....
That's what I am giving, my advice. It doesn't imply that the person is going to listen to me and do exactly what I have said. I am offering my opinion... they can choose to take it or leave it.

Ditto - especially when it comes to a messageboard.
IRL, I'm probably more of a PITA to those I truly care about but I also think that parenting is about making & learning from your own mistakes. I don't think anyone is an expert when it comes to raising a child (including those that have the degrees in child develoment, child psych, etc.).

Re: Do you get upset when someone doesn't take your advice...??
I think it also depends if the person is asking for advice. If I give advice without being asked for it, then that's just my opinion. If someone asks for it and genuinely needs it and they don't listen, then I do find it a little annoying. But at the end of the day, there is no right way to do things. Different people parent in different ways. And what works for one child may not work for all children.
