I swear it's not bad! At least the two on my back weren't. And this is coming from someone with a debilitating fear of needles!
Stubbing my toe hurts lol.

I'm 39 and have 9
Dh is 35 has a sleeve. It's taken him about 3 years and is nearly complete. He has a few others too

Neither DH nor I have a tattoo, not even a teeny, tiny one.
We're probably the only people under 70 that don't
They're just not my thing for myself or my SO.

No. I don't think I've ever seen a tattoo that doesn't look cheesy and corny and not worth being permanently etched on your body (even those done by top tattoo artists) and I have seen MANY.

Do you have a tattoo?
I'm 29 and have 7. All of them mean something to me. I have both inner ankles, my hip, my waist, my ribs, my bra line, and my lower back. I have been designing one for my son that will go on my side.
DH is 32 and has 7. Upper arm, middle of his arm, inside lower arm, half sleeve, inside upper arm, and calf.
We both got tattoos when we were in Hawaii for our honeymoon. I have his handwriting and he has our initials with our son's intertwining. And we both plan on getting more lol.

Nope. I thought about it for a long time when I was in my 20s. I was just too indecisive about what I would have on my body forever. Once I turned 30, I figured I was too old to start.

Good topic! I have one and I felt good about it being something meaningful to me to get tattooed and 5 years later still do.
My dad was adamantly against tattoos forever, openly expressed disgust with my brother and I after we got ours. At 59 years old, he just got one  Never say never, you only live once.

No. They are not my style. And I'm terrified of needles, so there's that. DH doesn't have any either. We are between 30-40 .
I don't think they are that popular here. I teach at a
university here (the age is 18-25 here) and I always do a "getting to know you" activity. One of the questions is find someone who has a tattoo. Out of 30 students I get one, maybe two, who have a tattoo. It's not uncommon to get no one.

I have two that I got when I was really young (we're talking under 18 young). Neither are offensive, but I feel really silly explaining one of them. I don't dislike it enough to get them removed, but I've thought of covering one of them up with another tattoo. Haven't thought of anything I'd want on my body permanently yet though.

Nope. Never had the desire. It's just too permanent and there is nothing I felt strongly enough about to have it permanently drawn onto my body.
DH doesn't have any either.

My DH has a ton.

I have a small butterfly on the back of my neck that I love. The other is a tramp stamp I got the second I turned 18. It's big, it's a fairy and I got it at Tattoo Lou's and her face looks masculine, so I always joke it's an homage to the transvestite world.
I would love to get a couple more, one for my kids, one for my husband (he has one for me, it's the title of our wedding song and I want the same) and maybe one for me.
ETA: I am 29.
My DH has a bunch. I can recall 8 of them but there might be more. He is 33.
