Yes I have 3 - one of my left shoulder, one on my right ankle and one one my left foot. DH has 8. We are 31/33 respectively.

I don't have any and never will. It's not my thing. Dh doesn't have any either
Most everyone we know has one.
My brother and sil both have full sleeves and they look cool. I just could never see myself with one.

you're certainly entitled to your opinion, and yes there are a ton of shittty tattoos out there. however, there are equally as many artistic and beautiful ones. To say every tattoo you've seen is cheesy and corny is over generalizing IMO

I'm sure there are and I'd like to think people are generally happy with the ink they've gotten. Just stating my opinion... that, for me, I've yet to see a non-cheesy tattoo that I'd say "now *that* is worth having permanently tattooed on your body!" and I've seen a ton. As long as you're happy that's all that matters... it's not like you're getting a tattoo to please others. To each their own.

DH has 2. I am getting my 4th next week. I have a piece that takes up my upper back, one on my shoulder blade, and one on my inner bicep. I am getting a ribcage piece next week. ETA I am 41

Do you have a tattoo?
I have 2 that are both in places that no one would see unless I showed them. I'm 45 now and I got the second one when I was 26. They are both meaningful, they are related to my heritage/family.
I'm in the healthcare field and it is still very frowned upon to have tattoos you can see if you're in the clinical department. When I interview young people that have spent a lot of time going to school to be in my field yet they have tattoos on their neck or lower arms it always makes me scratch my head.
My DH has none, I don't think he ever will.
My DSD is 21, she got a tiny one on her foot when she turned 18. My DH is 28 and surprisingly he has none.

Never- not for me. There is nothing I feel that strongly about that I would want on my body permanently...plus, it looks too painful and I am a wuss!! I do like tattoos within reason though, my DH has one.

Yes I have a small one on my back that I got when I was 18. I guess it was during my "rebellious stage" lol. I remember it hurt a lot.

I am the minority among my friends, none of them have any. I have both arms 3/4 sleeved in addition to 3 other large pieces.

i never thought id get one...also being Jewish we're not "allowed". but after my divorce i got one for me and my son. then i got my 2nd before my 2nd wedding. and now i'm planning my 3rd for my daughter. i like when they have a meaning and not a random piece of ink. im kinda hooked on them now!

i got permanent eye liner and eye brows... they've both faded since i got them
i also have a tattoo on the top of my left foot, it's the silhouette of five birds in flight.
i want to get a few more.
my DBF has various tattoos all over his body and is asking me to get more... i don't think i'll ever get as many as he would like to see on me.
i feel i might get two more and end there.
i did my eyes at 32
i did my foot at 37
i'm less than a week from being 42

The "tramp stamp" although the reason I got it there as because I knew if I ever regretted it I could cover it and I didn't have to look at it.
I don't regret it. I wound up having back surgery so my scar kind of goes into it.
I wish I had guts to get another one with something of my
Kids but I probably

I have 3. A tramp stamp that I got when I was 19, my daughters name and a butterfly on my foot, and my sons name on my wrist. I'm 35. My DH doesn't have any and he's 37.
