Do you have a time limit for CIO for naps?
DS has been screaming on and off for 50 mins. When I peek on him his eyes are closed so I know he's tired. Should I just leave him? Most of the time he only takes 10-20 mins. He only took a 30 min nap this morning so I know he's exhausted.
Sometimes if it takes an hour I'll take him out and go for a walk or something. Now that its raining Idk what to do.

I did CIO according to Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child and in it they say max 1 hr of crying for CIO for naps. I highly recommend that book for CIO help, he's got every situation in there and solutions for most everything at any age.

1 hour of continous crying...i had a sleep trainer come into my house and they said if they stop for 15 min and start again, you start the clock over, lol...it was awful and took 2 full weeks but now i have really no sleep issues other than those occasional days where she will play for 45 minutes but then she crashes

Yup... we had to do this with DD.
ITA about the book recommendation!
He is probably just overtired. DD almost never cries now unless she has missed a nap or goes down later than usual
