no but was told i could find out at her 12 month visit when they do her first blood work (other then the newborn screen)

no, but i really wish i did.
eta: i asked at the hospital, but was told that because DH and I are both + and neither of us were O they were not testing the baby.

yes. I found out when going through all the papers the hospital gave us when we went home. It also listed my bloodtype which i didn't know either.

Nope... we actually asked in the hospital when I gave birth if they could tell us and they said they don't even know. I was surprised, but they don't test for it.

Yes, we found out a few hours after he was born. I think it was b/c I'm Rh - and if ds was Rh+ I would need an additional rh shot.

I found out after her 2 year bloods.. doc never told us nor found out after her 1 year bloods..
she's o neg- takes after her dad... who is also o neg.

Yep. My DD is B+ which is the same blood type as both my DH and I. They told us in the hospital when she was born and it's on her records from the hospital.

Yes, and I only found out because when she was born there were issues because we have incompatible blood types.
