Re: Do you open your windows?

I"m always freezing - like today- I am FREEZING.
So unless it's 100 degrees out, no.

And if it's 100 degrees out the AC is on.

Yes I do. The people on my block really do not. I barely even see them.

Re: Do you open your windows?

I dont open them in the winter but on a day like today I absolutely open them! love the fresh breeze. I notice that some people on my block open but what I really cant understand are the people who are home all day but dont open their blinds or curtains...they dont work nights either. I find that so strange.

Re: Do you open your windows?

I used to LOVE to keep the windows open all the time. Now, the allergies are too awful...and if the pollen isn't deadly, it's too f***in hot to keep the windows open.

I found out just recently that Charlotte ranked #3 on the list of the worst cities for allergies Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I do to let in the fresh air but only during nice weather because I get cold very easily. If its really hot in my apt. during the winter then I'll crack it open.

I love to let in the fresh air so I'm always opening my windows. Unfortunately with allergy season here I can't do it as much as I would like to.

Re: Do you open your windows?

Nope, I wish I could though. DS has SEVERE seasonal allergies so much so it kicks his asthma into high gear, his face swells up, his eyes swell shut and he breaks out in hives wherever exposed skin is touched by pollen. I cant even take him outside during the spring. If he goes out, he has to be changed and washed down the second he comes back in. Its SUCH a bummer bc its beautiful out but we cant bc of his health.

Re: Do you open your windows?

We live in a coop and the heat is always blaring so yes we do. Generally I like to let fresh air in, unless I am freezing of course.

I open them, but it has to be a little warmer for me to do it...I still feel a little chill on the air lately.

Same here! Sometimes though I'll open a window that doesn't 'directly' effect the temp of where I am. Like today I have my bathroom windows cracked.

Re: Do you open your windows?

I am a big proponent of fresh air, DH not so much. I couldn't wait all morning for him to leave so I could open the windows and get some air circulated in here.

Our house gets extremely dusty between us, the dog and the heating system, it's so refreshing to have outside air coming in.Chat Icon

I open the windows and french doors all year round...rain or shine. When we first purchased our home, it killed me that the windows were old and broken so I couldn't open them freely. I've been in heaven since we installed all new windows & doors. Chat Icon

I'd even say I open at least one window on a daily basis.
