Re: Do you put shoes on your non-walking baby's feet?
DD is 7 months and we just started putting her in Robeez and Pedipeds when we go out. In the house she is barefoot. DS wore Robeez until he was about 14 months old, then he was good and steady on his feet so we bought him Stride Rite's.

same here... they have cute ones from Old Navy or BRU. DS always has socks on, but if we go to a family party or something I'll put on cute shoes. He usually doesn't wear it the whole time.
BTW... DS is 6 months

DS wears Robeez or Pedipeds at daycare and whenever we're out. I only started putting shoes on him when the weather got colder. At home, he wears socks.

Nope. Barefoot or socks only until he started walking and even then, shoes only when we were outdoors.

I just realized that we had 2 pairs of robeez. i remember thinking they were hideous when i first saw them. now i think they are very practical and comfortable. haha
I'll put them on DS's feet next time we go out of the house.

Yes DD wore shoes when we went out...its a personal preference but I find shoes complete and outfit. I used soft bottom shoes on DD.
Converse makes some

I put robeeze on DD only when we are going out because it is cold. I feel like it helps protect her feet from the elements.
Us too.

no. just socks. i was told that you should not put shoes on a non-walking baby. i also figure it's one less thing to buy!

Re: Do you put shoes on your non-walking baby's feet?
Around 10.5 months when Ryan started to stand unassisted I used Robeez. Then at about 11.5 months we started using Stride Rite walking shoes.

Re: Do you put shoes on your non-walking baby's feet?
My DD starting walking at 9 months , but before then, I didn't put shoes on her. Except for dress shoes with dresses and stuff. I also heard that babies are supposed to learn how to walk without shoes on.

Babies are not supposed to wear shoes until they can walk.
I heard this too....but I put them on my DS especially when pics are going to be taken i.e. special occasions.
