What would he do if you made plans for the 3 of you do something for the day? Would he get upset?

I've never done that before...none of my friends like to tag along with us..they would feel uncomfortable.

I don't think he'd be angry, he's very easy-going...me on the other hand...

I don't think you are being selfish at all... it sounds like tends to be immature about some things.

Does his cousin have a GF? Maybe you should try to set him up so he has less time for your DH!

no, you're not being selfish. the bottom line is that he made other plans and then probably realized that the right thing to do is spend time with his family so then he tried to work you 2 in to his original plans

You are not being selfish at all!!! I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with expect you DH to spend one day a week that he has off with his wife & son!!!! Especially since he spent the past few nights haning with his cousin! I would be furios if my DH did that to me!

I don't think you are selfish at all. The things you have posted about would make me nuts! I definitely would want DH to spend his day off with me and Alex.

I don't think you are being selfish at all!!! How about on his next day off you make the plans for you your husband and the baby (not in a pushy way but ask him.... How about next Saturday the 3 of us go...) That way you're in control of the activity and he doesn't have the opportunity to make plans with his cousin.

I don't think you are being selfish at all. I don't think that most men THINK before they make plans. They aren't like us - we think everything through. Someone asks them to do something and without a thought they say yes - not giving their wife or children a second thought. I don't think they do it on purpose - it's just their nature.

You are not being selfish...there is nothing wanting some family time, and trying to squeeze it into what he wants to do is NOT fair...

They really are all the same!
