I couldn't do it, no way. I would rather take a plane that has 5 connections rather than sit in a car driving on highways for hours on end!
You;re brave..lol...I've done 3 connections with 1 LO and just worrying about the flights being on time was to stressful for me.

If you only have one driver and flying is not an option, it can be done. I did it the last 2 years... It can be done in one over night... North Carolina is the half way point and that is around 8 hours with no stops. 10 hours with stops..

Yes... He just turned 5 the day before we left on our last trip. (We left NY on October 25th)..And he is special needs... The drive isn't bad as long as you pace yourself and stop driving before you get too tired.. Just watch out for the speed traps in VA. They LOVE NY drivers!

My parents drove down for 20 years with 5 kids. My dad was the only driver as my mom does not drive on highways...
