Re: Enfamil powder vs liquid
RTF cans ar $5.00 each at BRU... So much cheaper than the supermarket. Lance would only use RTF... It was only about $130.00 a month to use them, I think it was worth it. RTF is thicker.

You can as long as he is fine with it. Try RTF at night it may make him sleep longer.

If you are concerned about it being too bubbly you could get a formula pitcher and make a big batch and then just pour when you need it. I love this thing and I got it at BRU and its like $7.99.
And Gentlease, which is specifically for gas only comes in powder.

hmm... i'm not too familiar with formula, but i don't see why you couldn't use RTF just when you go out.
or you could buy a package of stirrers to keep in your diaper bag and stir instead of shake.

Re: Enfamil powder vs liquid
Whats RTF?
also another question: the pitcher-- when you make a large amount of formula from powder, how long can you let it be there... like i know the bottles already made, once you open it, its only good for 48 hours as long as it doesnt touch saliva.

I shake it and DD doesn't get gas from it. When she was itty bitty she did have gas, but she was just gassy in general. It was there whether or not the bottles were shaken and immediately used or shaken and put in the fridge to settle.
Powder costs me 11 a can. I use one can a week and roughly 1.5 bottles of the 2.5 gallon size bottled water a week (1.29) I use the generic of Enfamil and never had an issue. Label for label it's the exact same. Soo if money is a concern, I suggest generic. They make generic RTF also, and at Walmart it's 3.84 for the 32 oz can.
