Whats RTF?
also another question: the pitcher-- when you make a large amount of formula from powder, how long can you let it be there... like i know the bottles already made, once you open it, its only good for 48 hours as long as it doesnt touch saliva.
i believe that once you mix it it's good for 24 hours

i switch on and off powder and RTF is that ok???? he seems to be fine with it
I do the same thing but use Similac. I use the powder to go out...so much easier but I use the RTF at home. DD prefers it over the powder. My ped said it was OK.

Re: Enfamil powder vs liquid
Also if you use RTF heating it up while out is a PITA. You have to walk around with a cooler bag with the bottles. I bought a Second Nature bottle warmer. It's portable doesn't have to be plugged into the car outlet and heats a bottle in about 10-15 minutes depending. Not fast but if your baby is on a schedule you can just heat it up before hand and don't have to worry about being in the car to do it. Target sells it online but I got mine off Ebay. I have it but still mostly use the powder to go out. Image Attachment(s):
