I'd just say "Hi Mary. I saw Jim at Fridays last night with his coworkers, or maybe they were his friends. I didn't get a chance to say hello to him, though"
I agree.. that might be the best way to "tell her" but "not".

i would tell. i would want the same respect.
I feel the same way. I would hate for people to whisper behind my back knowing my husband is cheating on me. Not cool!!!!
I tend to agree. I would want to know the truth no matter how ugly. While things could get hairy and weird...think of all the diseases out there. Her husband could be hooking up with several women and giving her whatever he's picked up. And she not know it and end up sick! Someone mentioned an anonnymous email...that could work.

Yeah, that's what I thought.
It's hard because she is one of these BRAGGY women who are always going on about what their DH's bought them and how great they are and tries to put my DH down (who works with us too).
It's so tempting to bring her down a peg or two, but I know that's not the reason I should do it.
I keep thinking about if things were reversed would I want to know from her.
yea, and then she'll sabotage you because she's in denial.
Keep her on her imaginary "peg" and stay far away from it.

I am in the minority but I would totally tell her. Like Jess said I would want the same courtesy.

I would say stay out of it but in reality I probably would have went over to them and said to the girl "Did you know he is a married man. I work with his wife". Jerk.
