I would be polite and eat what I could. I doubt anyone would be watching me eat anyway....

Re: Etiquette at showers, e-party's , etc.
I would probably push my food around and eat bread. The chances of anyone hosting the party noticing that I'm not eating the food would be very slim.

I would try to eat what I could and leave it at that.
If anyone asked, I'd just say that I wasn't very hungry.
same here.

I would smile, eat the bite I had taken, and put it down. If anyone asks, I would say I'm not hungry.

I would probably take a bite or two-- then just stop eating and eat some bread. Hopefully my disgust wouldn't show on my face, but sometimes I can't conceal my thoughts-- even though I am trying to. If someone asked-- i would just say that I was not feeling well or something and am not really hungry.

I would eat any edible parts (if there was any) and not eat the rest.
I would talk to my dh about it.
I would never tell the people unless I knew that I could without upsetting them (like if they would agree with me or brought it up like it was at my bro's wedding)
I wouldn't make them feel badly though. it ***** enough as it is to pay good money and have your guests disappointed. worse if you have everyone telling you.
some things are also open to taste. I am very particular.

I'd sort of play around with the food until it looked like it was thoroughly picked through and then toss it.

Re: Etiquette at showers, e-party's , etc.
i am a fairly picky eater - adventurous, but if i don't like it, i'm not going to pretend i do.
if i was at an event where the food was bad i would find one thing that was tolerable so i wouldn't go hungry.
would i make a face? no.
would i talk about it with DH afterwards? hell yes!

Other. I would not eat it, but now show disgust. I'd eat whatever was good, and leave whatever was bad.
If it was bad as in not my taste, I'd try to eat some of it, but if I thought it was rotten, poorly cooked, or something I would not otherwise eat (like meat) I would not eat it.
Yeah, what she said.

Re: Etiquette at showers, e-party's , etc.
Well, I hardly eat at these type of gatherings. If I wanted a free meal I'd go to a soup kitchen. I go there for the event and to spend time with other people.... So if the food wasn't good, and I actually ate so I knew it wasn't good, then I'd keep my mouth shut and get my a s s back out on the dance floor!
