Re: everyone should read this (any opinions?)
We did not get one for DS and for a long time my MIL disagreed with me and kept pushing the topic. It's not that I hate them but personally don't see the point...plus I do worry about the potential danger. These kids are so fast and so much happens in the blink of an eye.
My DH was confused because he had his wife saying no and his mom saying yes...so he actually asked the physical therapist her thought and she told him:
1. Never ever go against your wife 2. They are banned in Canada
She had other reasons...all her personal opinion but it supports my personal opinion as well
So DH agrees with me completely and we did not purchase a traditional walker for DS. We did receive some push-walker things that we allow him to hold on to and stand.
I will say though...they look so cute in the walkers and I think they are a riot to watch!

we never used a walker- we used the exersaucer- which she loved.... but, come 10 months- we just let her chill out on the floor and explore (with us watching her of course)- she was much happier that way.

Lack of supervision...that's what the cause of these accidents. I had Jared in a walker. It's not a babysitter.
