Family friendly beach vacation
We just got back from Ogonquit, ME on Sunday and had a GREAT time!! We are already thinking about what to do next summer. Some of the best house rentals get snatched up early. We are saving places like Disney, Hershey, and the Caribbean for when DS is older. So we are looking for a nice beach vacation on the east coast. We loved Ogonquit but we want to try different places every year.
Ideas we are throwing around:
Fort Myers, FL
Hilton Head Island
Vero Beach
Rehobeth Beach, DE
Ocean City, MD
LBI
Outer Banks
Anyone have any input on these places, or other ideas? TIA!!

We do Hilton Head every thanksgiving with Dh family. We have yet to.do it with our boys but our nephews always have a great time. Flights can be expensive though so that sometimes hinders our plans. Not many airlines fly to Savannah. The condo rentals are great in Palmetto dunes. You can pick anything from 1-5 bedrooms.

LBI is awesome... so much to do and great rental properties!
I rec staying in ship bottom or surf city. Beach Haven has a lot of attractions, but rentals are more $

Love LBI. Spent my summers there as a kid. A perfect family place. Tons of rentals.

We go to Topsail Island NC and every year and its great! It is very family friendly and so much fun!

sunset beach, nc
houses are big, nice and cheap.
35 minutes north of myrtle, so you have easy access to those attractions.
I go to Emerald Isle Beach NC almost daily. very family friendly.

I went to hilton head every summer from when I was born through my late teens. IMO - great family beach vacation. Lots of great rentals in palmetto dunes, and best beaches there.
