IMO its not BS....People say things likes " Oh I grew up on normal food" and Im ok....BUT in reality, SO many things can be linked to the pesticides from heartburn, to cholesterol to aches and pains and issues people DO HAVE they just fail to remember or realize it could be from that.
I only know 2 people who were raised the same age as I was organically...they lived a different lifestyle but let me tell you, the comparisoin to them to me is beyound crazy and I consider myself fairly healthy....But they have none of the issues I have had and I may be guillable but Im not taking chances with my kid if I can control it....
Have you rea dthe label of some of the baby foods? How do you think they can make food last with a shelf life of 3 yrs? Its scary and I wish the public was more aware.
ITA! My SIL in Hawaii eats only Organic everything. She does not eat red meat, but eats everything else. She is THE healthiest person I know.

? for those that only eat organic, What do you do if you go out to dinner or over someones house? Do you not eat or do you bring your own food?
I will eat at someone's home or if we are at a restaurant. I do not eat out often, when I do I try to make healthy choices. I had to over haul my lifestyle since my surgery in May and I feel that it is not the one meal at a restaurant or someone's home that will hurt you, it is the choices you make every day at each meal.

Re: Feeding DC Organic Food
I try and feed DS mainly organic, but I find in the baby food that sometimes I need to do regular as well - at least to give him the variety.

My pediatrican said its BS also
so did mine. The only things I buy organic is all dairy ie: cheese, eggs, butter, milk. And meat.
And I clean with only organic cleaners.
same here, but we just get the Organic milk, eggs, and that is it. plus we go out to dinner a lot with the boys, so I cant obsess over everything being organic for them.

Man, I am definitely in the minority here! I don't buy organic...I feel perfectly comfortable with regular old veggies and fruits. Everything I buy is washed, peeled etc...
We're all pretty healthy. My mental health is a different situation these days, but otherwise it's good!
