First normal period after stopping BC?
My OB said it should take 6-8 weeks more or less to get my first regular period after stopping BC.
What was your experience?

I've actually been weirdly normal after stopping BC. It was a bit heavier and i had some cramping, but it was usual length and started about the same time

mine was regular right from the start. I'll admit that I hadn't been on BC very long though. Probably just about 5 months and then when I stopped, my very next period was back to normal. The schedule was just off by a couple days. Nothing extreme.

Yesi-I was regular after stopping BC until 3 months after-then I was a week late. You should regulate after the first few cycles-good luck!

30 days exactly and i was on the pill for 11 years with about 1 year total off in that time...

mine was close to a week late and really light...and now so far since being off BC that seems to be how it is for me. Which isn't so bad, I guess!

Not bad at all! I remember how heavy my periods were before I started BC!

Mine took about 6 months to regulate. But I was also on steriods for my back in that time so my OB said it could be the pill I was taking and the steriods may have had somthing to do with it.

i was on bcp for 12 years.. this is my first cycle off and so far im on cd 42 with no AF. its annoying  . i cant wait til she come so i can just get on with the meaningful BDing!!
