F***king SHIZZZ red light cameras!!!!
I KNOW there is one at this one particular block.
I KNOWWWWW its there.
EVERY F'ing day I go by/through/stop at it and say "red light camera".
But what I forget is that there is also one in the OPPOSITE direction.
I just got hit with 2 violations 3 days apart for racing to the train station in the morning.
Look, its my fault. I made a right on red without stopping.
But these blood sucking scum dragging doody eating F'ERS can kiss my a$$.
oh, ps. When you pay, half the money goes to Arizona.

I have a solution, leave earlier, this way you save yourself a ticket, and some money, and stop going through red lights.

Arizona???
Because the recordings of you going through the red light get sent to a call center in Arizona. An actual person reviews the footage to verify that you indeed went through the light and it wasn't a camera error.
I believe the Arizona center handles red light cameras around the country, not just New York/Long Island.

Because the recordings of you going through the red light get sent to a call center in Arizona. An actual person reviews the footage to verify that you indeed went through the light and it wasn't a camera error.

Honestly? I WAS rushing to the train station. The only thing I DIDNT do was STOP. I went up, saw no one was coming then made the right on red.
I FULLY accept it was my fault. I can still grouse about it!

No flame. As I said, I am guilty. I did it. I'm annoyed that it happened, but I have to pay the price, 2x for doing something stupid.
We all do it, I just got caught.
But I AM annoyed. I'm annoyed at myslef for getting 2 tickets. I will say I am now more likely to cause an accident because I might have to stop short at yellows and potentially get rear ended by all the other people who want to "beat the red".
I'm not in a habit of speeding up for yellows. In the morning, when you are trying to get the train, your focus is "dont miss the train". EVEN if I have enough time to get there, its stil laways in the back of my mind.
But I did it, I'm annoyed I did it. I'm annoyed I got caught. And I'm really annoyed that I have to pay. But what I'm most annoyed is that the money I DO pay does NOT stay in Nassau. They pay an Arizona company to run this program so they get to keep half to 3/4, while nassau gets only a little bit. If they are going to profit by it, at LEAST keep the money on the Island.
But I did not take that as a flame.

To me it sounded more like she was annoyed at herself and the whole situation, not necessarily about having gotten caught. She admitted that what she did was wrong. She still has a right to be pisssed off, even if at herself.

I so can relate. Just paid today for passing a red light. On the upside though, I lost my citation and called Suffolk Red light program and they were so very nice and accomodating.

I dont know about Long Island but NYC Red Light Cameras are handled here in NYC. Its done in my building.

Oh please. I'm a chronic runner-later so I can totally empathize. I've been racking up those tickets myself. Very annoying but I have nobody to blame but me. We will figure it out one of these days!
