Freddy update
This weekend really blew. He was all mad and agitated and they had to give him a cocktail of stuff to calm him down. (Reminiscent of a mental ward) I hated seeing him like that. But hey, wouldn't you be annoyed?
So yesterday the cocktail worked and he was calm and sleepy. They took the restraints off. He blew another kiss at me. I Think.
So today I called the nurse and she told me that he was more alert and more responsive. He actually responded to commands. He was asked to lift his arms and he did it. They called his name and he looked over at them and looked them dead in the eye focused rather than looking into space. They see this as progress, I see it as giant progress!
It is just a little step, but he's better than before. I hope he continues to show the signs of coming back..baby steps, but I'll take it.
Come on Fred....fight!!! We miss you.

taking the night off. His kids are coming today and his friends saw him already. I'm glad because I was going to open up a can of whoopazz on them
