Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
When did you use this in relation to a bath?
The directions say: apply a small amount to affected areas, and gently massage into baby's scalp as needed. Loosen the scales with a soft brush/comb. Shampoo as usual.
We bathe DD every other day. Do we do this right before a bath, right after a bath, ever day, etc? So confusing!

Re: Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
I asked myself the same question when I bought it. I still don't know. I do it before bath then use shampoo to clean it and remove the rest with his soft hairbrush.

Re: Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
I found it works best if you do it about 30 minutes before a bath. I rub it in and let it sit for 15 minutes or so then I brush it and try to get off as much as I can, then a bath and shampoo

Re: Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
I used it a couple of times before the bath and let it soak in. Now I just find if I scrub her head gently with the washcloth using Johnson's Head to Toe, it really helps it! Then I comb it with one of my combs from front to back and all the flakes come out.

Re: Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
It's "kind of" gone now. I only used it a few times. I actually thing "picking" it gave a better result.

I put it on, then use the comb then put her in the bath. If you give your DC a bath every other day then do the same. I only give DD a bath twice a week and within 4 applications it was gone. I also put moisturizer on her head (she literaly doens't have any hair anymore so it doens't get stuck in their).

Re: Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care
Thanks everyone! I haven't done anything with it up until now (she's 3.5 months ) b/c I didn't want to mess with her little head. But I guess it's time...it will probably only get worse if I don't do something with it.
