Girls who go to University Plaza who are having a C-Section or has previously had one

Who will be performing your C-Section or if you have previously had one who has performed it? Dr. Rosenburg is my Primary OBGYN over there. I LOVE him! I have seen Dr. Miller once before when i had a MC last year. He was great! My Last pregnancy visit i saw Dr. Cafaro. He was nice but i was not too overly impressed with him for some reason. My SIL also goes to this practice. She delivered vaginally with both her DC. Her first was deliverd by Dr. Miller. She said he was AMAZING and so gentle! her 2nd was delivered by Dr. Rosenburg. She said he was kinda Clumsy and rough and she preferred Dr. Miller.

I know i'm a little early (only 20 weeks) so my section wont be scheduled for a while, but who did your C-section? I am trying to decide which Dr. i want to talk about it with? I'll see Rosenburg in a few weeks and my next appt i will make with Miller. I know everyone has different experiences but if i am going to be cut open, i need some opinions here. TIA!

my primary OB is Miller and has been for the last 10 years. I love him! He's so gentle and reminds me of Mr. Rogers. When I got pregnant, it was the first time i met Rosenberg and Cafaro. I felt like Rosenberg was always reaching for my tonsils and Cafaro wanted nothing to do with me.

I was induced due to pre-eclampsia on my 40 week appt with Miller, he sent me right to the hospital. 26 hours later, Cafaro was on call. He recommended the c-section because I was not dilating. The man took charge and did an amazing job! I love him! He even gave me a kiss as i was being wheeled out of the OR, which i thought was so not like him.

I healed so nicely. I never had a problem with the incision. just the typical scar that everyone gets.

A lot of girls love Dr. Miller because he is so gentle. At first, honestly I didn't care for him for that reason. I also thought he was a little awkward. I am kind of a tell-it-like-it-is person. I loved Dr. Cafaro so I picked him to do my elective c section. I really have a minimal scar which is incredibly low. I really had no pain. I thought he was great the day of the surgery. Dr. Miller ended up doing some appointments afterward and I ended up liking him a lot. Dr. Rosenberg delivered my cousin. He was breech and they sent Rosenberg to turn him. My aunt was very happy though she said he was late for every appointment. So overall, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. It is just personal preference.

Thanks ladies. I am glad both of you had great experiences with Dr. Cafaro, becuase i did feel like he wanted nothing to do with me at my appointment. Although he was very nice. I think i am going ot try for Miller ot Cafaro then. Although i love Rosenburgh as my OB, my SIL said he was very clumsy. She saced the cord and he dropped it on the floor and he tripped over something. I think i am just WAY too nervous about having a c-section. I have NEVER had surgery before

My primary is Dr. Rosenberg, I saw them all during the pregnancy since I was there so often with twins! I was scheduled for a C with Dr. Cafaro since he was the only one available the day I was scheduled for, I really wanted Dr. Rosenberg to deliver. My water broke, I told the service to page Dr. R no matter what (like he told me to tell them) but Dr. Cafaro called me back.

Dr. Cafaro ended up doing my c-section and he was awesome, such a doll, I love him! I was both him and Dr. Miller the following days in the hospital and saw Dr. R my last day (he took my staples out)...in my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of them! They are all great.

Dr. Miller is my Primary OBGYN and I LOVE him! He is so gentle and kind. During my pregnancy I saw all 3 doctors but was not real impressed with Cafaro. He didn't seem to be real personable. When I went into labor he was on call and I was kinda upset. Rosenburg actually delivered my DS and he was awesome! And when Cafaro did rounds the next morning he was a lot better. So I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

I am not ready for any of them. I have mostly met with Rosenberg and he has been late for every appt. and does not give me much feedback about my test results. He just tells me that everything looks good. I have only met with Cafaro and Miller once each and was not impressed with either one. Cafaro didn't have much of a personality and Miller seemed wishy-washy. I am meeting with Miller again tomorrow so I will see how I like him. My SIL in law goes there too and Miller and Cafaro delivered for her and she liked them both.
Garrido is my primary over there and I am so upset he is doing OB anymore.

Another Miller Fan here!!!!
He did my cousin and did DD and on 9/1 did DS. He came in on his day off to perform my CS...he's got my vote hands down. He is amazing, caring, and would recommmend him over the others. I like them all but really love Miller.

Thanks ladies. I've never had aproblem with any of them being late or not giving test results. But I was a little concerned about cafaro. I am glad you other ladies felt the same way and had great experiences with both cafaro and miller doing your sections. I feel more comfortable with any of them delivering my twins now.

That is my OB too! By the end of my pregnancy we should have been exchanging holiday gifts I spoke to and saw each of them so often! I had twins and had a complicated pregnancy.

They are all great. Miller did my csection. They are all fantastic doctors and I would have been happy to have any of them do my csecion. Mine was an emergency by the way.

I am so surprised that people found Cafaro to have no personality. He is really nice, friendly and thorough answering questions. I met with him every other week during the pregnancy and only once did I find him kind of gruff.

I will add that I find the office to be horrible when it comes to picking up the phone. They need way more people answering the calls.

cafaro delivered my son via csection and he did an AMAZING job minimal scar, good recovery etc.

ill be honest, from the very beginning, Cafaro was the last one that i wanted to deliver me. I saw Rosenberg almost my entire pregnancy until the end when I saw Miller once or twice (liked him!) and then Cafaro here and there. I was high risk so I was there ALL the time.

At my last few appts. I saw Cafaro, it just happened to work out that way with scheduling. I never requested anyone, I just saw whomever they scheduled me with. Ultimately, at 40w1d when I saw Cafaro, we decided that csection was the best route and we scheduled it with Cafaro for the next day. He was patient, explained all of the options, spent as much time with us as we wanted/needed. He was SO sweet in the hospital. It was an awesome experience with Dr. Cafaro.

Honestly, I dont care who delivers me in the future, im that confident in all of them. I am really happy with UPOGYN
