Got in a car accident yesterday, but feeling ok today
I was leaving a studio and going straight when this girl in a giant SUV makes an illegal left right into my rear driver's side so hard that she couldn't reverse OUT and I couldn't drive forward. I was pretty scared because the way our cars hit, I couldn't get out. Cop had to remove her vehicle from mine. Even though I wasn't cramping, EMT made me go to hospital. DH was able to get in from city and meet me there; baby looks good and everything seems ok. But I took the next 2 days off from teaching to be sure I don't start cramping, etc. Very scary to be in an accident, let alone when you're preggo, but it seems to happen to a lot of us!  (on a cool note, at the sono doc told me wait until the 20 week but she thinks it's a girl!)

Oh how awful! Glad you are both okay. . . car accidents always terrifying but how much worse bc of your LO. .
oh and possible congrats on your little yogini!

That's awful! I'm so sorry you had to go through that! Make sure you fill out the appropriate paperwork with your insurance company asap -- you only have 30 days to file the MV104 with the state or you're barred from ever doing it. It doesn't mean you have to sue or anything, but you'll never be able to if g-d forbid something happens if you don't get that filed within 30 days.
I'm glad you went to the hospital and had a good experience there. You'll find out in just a few weeks if the tech was right!!

oh yes! there is like, foam coming out the side door. i have a jetta; it's pretty heavy so that worked out in our favor....thanks for the well wishes, guys!

Glad you are doing fine as well as the baby. That's one of my biggest fear when i get on the road. A lot of drivers are not careful and seems to be in a hurry all the time.
