grr... I just had the worst pedicure (long vent)
I am so mad. There are two places close to my apt, and I usually just go to the one place. But I was walking home on the other street today, so that place was more convenient.
I was the only customer in there, besides two other people who were drying and left shortly after I got there.
Anyway, I put my stuff down-- and went to use the ladies room. When I come back, my shoes are on one end of the room, and my shopping bag (I had some groceries) on the other end of the room. Why can't I just keep it next to me? No one else is in here!! 
So, then I am trying to read and this woman who speaks incoherent English is trying to talk to me. Lady, I am trying to read and I can't understand a word you are saying anyway. It embarasses me that I have to ask you "what?" 5 times before I get the gist of what you are saying. I am trying to relax and read anyway-- leave me alone!
Then, they try to charge me SIX ADDITIONAL DOLLARS to use the razor. NO. And when I didn't have flip flops, they immediately went to grab a pair and told me it would be THREE DOLLARS. I told them I didn't want to buy flip flops-- so, then they finally gave me the paper ones.
Finally, I am sitting there drying and for not that long. DH calls me, so I am on the phone and distracted. The woman comes over and puts the dryer stuff on, then saran wrap. I thought it was WAY too soon, but she touched my nails so I figured it was ok. Oh, and then she took the paper thingys off my feet, and placed them back in the cart to be used on someone else! 
I am still on the phone and then she tries to put my socks and shoes on. I did not get a mani so I am thinking-- why they hell are they rushing me out of here and/or trying to put my shoes on for me?? I am the ONLY person in here. I am still on the phone and I needed to be interrupted to tell her to leave me alone.
Ok, so now I am home, and after walking the two blocks to my apt, I take off my shoes and the saran wrap and the pedicure is ruined. It's really just my two big toes-- the ONLY two nails the lady felt before putting the saran wrap on mind you.
I want to go back and have them re-do it, but I am not doing it now, and I know they will most likely tell me it's my fault-- which it is so not, and make me pay something since they are cheap, money hungry b@stards over there. I figure I am better off getting a polish change at my other place and shelling out even more money.
I am SOOOO angry!! All I wanted was some freshly pretty toes.

How annoying!! I am always so weary of unfamiliar nail salons... More of those places are bad than good!
I would have been super mad as well. Pedicures are suppose to be relaxing, dammit!

Ewww! I'd be so annoyed. Were they trying to close up or something?
A few weeks ago I was enraged by the actions of a nail tech. at my usual place and ended up going off on the owner. Let's just say I went down in a blaze of glory and now I can't ever go back. I'm really sad because before that, I loved it there.

OMG that sucks I hate that....I wouldnt bother going back , it will probably cause more of a headache....if you want just get the polish cahnge at your reg place..

ugh - i feel your pain.
i would fix it myself and never go back and tell anyone i could that the place is terrible.
if they treated you badly the first time in there - i couldnt imagine how they woudl act if you went back with a problem.
