Has anyone not had their wisdom teeth taken out?
I had X-rays for years with no sign of wisdom teeth. Recently an xray showed my upper 2 up high.

Has anyone not had their wisdom teeth taken out?
I still have mine. One time the X-ray showed that one was slightly bothering my gums but not enough for them to take it out. That was like 3 years ago. I'm hoping I never have to have them removed.

I have all of mine. Everyone's mouth is different. I had room for them and they hardly hurt when they came in. No issues

Me! They show up on x-rays, but never fully came through. They bothered me once years ago (that's how I saw them on x-ray) but not anymore.
I don't plan on ever removing them unless they become a problem.

I had one out plus a molar that needed to come out at the same time.
I still have my other 3.
One needs to come out but I have been putting it off for 10 years.
The others never gave me an issue so they stay

Has anyone not had their wisdom teeth taken out?
I have all four. for years I was told to get them out. When I switched dentists about a year ago my new dentist said he doesnt believe in removing them for no reason (which is how I always felt). So mine will stay unless and until there's a problem.

All 4 of mine show up on x-rays, but I've been assured by multiple dentists that they're never coming out. Works for me

I only have 3, the 4th one never grew. They're all still in my gums. I feel no need to remove them. I'm also missing an adult tooth in the front. It's a baby tooth that's capped over.

When I was younger, my baby teeth didn't like to fall out on their own....so I had to have multiple surgeries to have them removed. I lost 8 on my own, but had 15 removed surgically. During one of the surgeries, they also removed 4 adult teeth because they said my jaw was too small to accommodate all of my teeth.
After that, my wisdom teeth grew in, and they had extra space, so they never caused any pain and are there to stay!

I had a very nasty oral surgeon with ZERO bedside manner tell me, at 22 years old, that I should remove all 4, even though only one was causing me a little discomfort, because if I didn't, they would act up on my wedding day, ruin my honeymoon, and possible cause harm to my unborn baby when I got pregnant.
Yeah ok.
Needless to say, I never went back to that jerk and I still have the other 3 teeth that didn't need to come out. Oh and they didn't ruin my wedding, honeymoon, or my DD's health!

I only have 1 wisdom tooth showing, and unfortunately, it has a pretty big cavity in it. They can't get to it to fill it, so it will have to come out eventually. They told me I could wait until it really bothers me, so I'm waiting as long as possible. The others are not showing at all, so no issues.

I'm surprised to see so many people not born with all of them, i was only born with 3, I throught I was special lol One of them was impacted and got infected so I had to get it pulled and decided to do all 3 at once so I didn't have to go thru it again.
