help me get my ass in gear!!
my dd is 6 months and I can not get rid of these last 8 lbs.
for the most part, most of the weight came off naturally, by me eating my regular diet, which I try to eat a variety of fruits, veggies, lean protein. the weekends i do indulge a little and lately i think a little too much.
ive reached my breaking point now bc im getting so frustrated that i can ALMOST fit into my old clothes, but they are still too tight to wear in public.
i need some motivation, inspiration, ass kicking here!
i know a lot of people have been here, please tell me that it's possible, what did you do? i need to rev up my metabolism!!
help

Re: help me get my ass in gear!!
I am in the same place as you. DS #2 is 7 months and I still have the last 10 lbs to lose. With DS #1 it all came off much easier although it did take a full year to get back to PP weight. I started running after he was about 6 month and also would do the P90X workouts when I could.
I started (2 days ago lol) the T25 workout. It is only 25 minutes so I force myself to do it. But I am sweating by the end and out of breath. I am also trying to cut out on the snacking. I find that I pick here and there and all those calories add up!
I would try to do some kind of exercise every day even if it is only for 25 minutes. And also give yourself some credit. You created a human! It might take a little time and commitment but you will get there.

I think I'm going to try South Beach Phase 1 again. It's just so hard to be strict and so regimented when I'm more worried about my 6 month old lol

Re: help me get my ass in gear!!
The no carb thing works for me - I use it as a jump start b/c I need quick results to stay motivated -
There's no way I'm living my life carb free ........so I start off strict, get off the first 10 - 15 lbs and then will continue from there .......Once I hit the 1/2 mark, I am motivated to keep going and not gain it back !
I have 30 to lose .........I started this week (yes, I'm the loon that starts a diet during holiday season b/c it helps me stay focused and not eat like a pig and GAIN an extra 10 lbs!) so I'm donw 6 just since Monday.
I'll go through by Birthday (12/22) and have the ocassional glass of wine on the weekends. - But for the most part, I'm strict w/ it. Once I have it in my head, I'm good - it's just getting to the point for me that I've had enough and I actually start.
