Help...Question regarding breast pump
So my cousin-in-law just asked me if her sister can use my electrical breast pump not the parts just the machine.
Would you allow someone to use your pump?

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
Not if I planned on using it again.
Only because I'm not sure of the life expectancy of the breast pumps and I'd hate for it to break before I was done using it.

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
Depends on which pump it was. The Ameda Purely Yours is totally safe to share if the person has their own tubes/flanges.

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
I personally wouldn't. If I got it back and something didn't work properly, I would be nervous to ask them to replace it since pumps are so expensive. Thats just me though.

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
Mine came from my cousin but had new parts. It is a very expensive medical grade pump.

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
I lent it to my SIL and would lend it to a close friend or family member. Honestly the machine doesn't touch the milk or anything but it's a personal decision. I can understand ladies not wanting to lend it out.

Re: Help...Question regarding breast pump
Simone,
I bought one from someone on here that used it twice.
Sanity-wise it is safe, as you know, b/c the necessary parts would all be new that come in contact....
However, like someone else said, not sure of the life expectancy...if you are planning on using it again, you don't want it to break, etc. b4 then...
