For Cailen, we tell him "It is still time for sleepy sleepy." We close HIS door, and OUR door, and let him cry. after a few mornings, he went back to sleep for another 30-45 minutes.

Re: He's getting up earlier and earlier - Help needed please
Justin has his toy bag hanging off the crib with his stuffed animals in it and he puts them all in his crib and they have a meeting every morning. He also still has a music thing hanging in his crib which he sits in front of and watches like its a 50 inch flat screen.
Maybe throw something in his crib, a stuffed animal or something over night that he'll play with for awhile when he wakes up? Just to occupy him long enough for you to open your eyes and wake up.
I feel for ya

I say put him down at 7:30 (later the better so he won't wake that early), thats when Todd Jr goes down and then he wakes at 7-7:30am. I wouldn't put any toys in his crib, that will just make him stay up longer and they shouldn't think bedtime is playtime. I guess you will have to work on putting him down earlier for a nap so he won't sleep close to his bed time and mess things up. I think its that 3pm nap he takes thats messing up his schedule!
He wakes up at 3 - doesn't go down at 3.
He doesn't play with the toys in his crib at night either...I watch him in the monitor, he just kind of tosses and turns
Not sure then......I would just keep trying to put him down later so he sleeps later, thats what the problem is right? he's waking to early?
I think it's the opposite with Jack...the earlier he goes to bed the later he'll sleep.
Wow, you have it good then!

My DS is the same age as your son. I was having the same promblem has you. I have keeping up later. Its hard. I play with him or give a bath and let him hang out there for a while. It's hard to hold him out until 8pm. He has been getting up about 7-7:30.
Good Luck!

Re: He's getting up earlier and earlier - Help needed please
Well today was a bust. He was asleep by 7:30 last night and up at 5 FRIGGIN 15 this morning. I cannot take this.
I did let him yell in his crib until 6:15. He had stuffed animals in there - and he threw them out. I think he thinks by smashing Elmo to the ground he is somehow hurting mommy
I never looked forward to Daylight Savings so much. I can't wait to see what the heck happens over the next couple of nights!
