High Fiber Foods

What can I eat to counteract the iron in my prenatal? I can't eat mangos and broccoli.

Fiber 1 cereal is NO JOKE.... I once over indulged on it and paid the ultimate price. However, it's great if you need that, KWIM?

Fiber one bars, prune juice, blueberries, yogurt, and anything with flax. None of these have worked for me though Chat Icon

Shredded wheat or frosted mini-wheats.. None of the other high fiber foods did anything for me either...

THIS. The cinnamon delight tastes just like cinnamon toast crunch, and I just discovered chocolate shredded wheat - works wonders.

Beans are high in fiber (chick peas, lentils, hummus) . Whole grain pasta and lots of fruit!

Just a note on Fiber One cereal- the original contains aspartame, so if you are trying to avoid artificial sweeteners during pregnancy then I would stay away from it.

I found kiwi to be very helpful in my first tri, as well as lots of multigrains. Also, drink a lot of water, it will keep things moving!
