Re: honestly - who brings their own bags to the grocery store?
This weekend, I bought 5 bags at Stop and Shop and used them. They're in the car now for use in future shopping trips. They don't look that big hanging on the display, but they hold a LOT!

Re: honestly - who brings their own bags to the grocery store?
This thread inspired me and I bought 2 stop and shop reuseable bags.
Now let's see if I remember to use them.

I do...I bought the bags that Stop & Shop sells...They are totally worth it in my opinion. You can fit so much more in them & it is a lot easier to bring the packages into the house without the bags breaking or things falling out... IMAGE
I use the same ones... they are awesome.

We do - but I have to admit, we forget to bring them all too often. But, even when I forget and have to use the supermarket bags, we bring them back for recycling.

We always bring bags - usually our backpacks. No car, city shopping.
ETA: we get 'green' points with our club card for using them too!

Re: honestly - who brings their own bags to the grocery store?
So I am going to get ones of these bags. (Good idea starting this thread)
I am reading the Walbaums ones are larger than the Stop and Shop bags.
Stop and Shop bags can be carried over the shoulder. S&S also has insulated bags. How about the Walbaums?

Re: honestly - who brings their own bags to the grocery store?
I do! Sometimes I forget or we have the car that doesn't have the bags, but yes, most of the time we bring our own reusable bags. They are actually great because they hold a lot more and are easier to carry.
ETA: I have the Waldbaums ones. They are awesome. They have a handle and an over-the-shoulder strap.
