Hospital Bag - Questions
How many PJs are you bringing?
I figure only one regular outfit to go home in.
Are you bringing a whole bag of maxipads or just a few?

Bring the whole bag of pads!! You will use more then one at a time and the ones they give you do not have any stick on them!!
Bring comfys for the day to lay around in with the baby and probably a night gown for sleep tme cause they may come in to check you!!

I packed one pair of PJs and 2 sweatpant outfits. I also plan on wearing another sweatpant outfit to the hospital. I plan on wearing the sweatpant outfits when I am there and for going home and the PJs to sleep in. If I need something else, I will just have DH go home and get it for me! I also packed the whole bag of pads - it wasn't a big bag.

i plan on using the hospital pads... while they are old school, they really hold a ton!
as for jammies... i am actually packing two pairs of sweats and two nursing tanks.... with ds i didnt even get out of the gown the first night and had one night in jammies... if i need more then i will ask dh to bring me more
eta: as for checking you alot, with ds i was checked once when i got to the room, once the following morning and that was it.... i would rather have pants on so that it helps hold your pads more securely in place

I think I brought two nursing gowns, but only ended up using one. The first night I wore the hospital gown until I could shower. I ended up using the nursing gown during the day too.
One outfit to go home in.
Didn't bring pads. I used what they had at the hospital & it was sufficient - I also bled a lot. I guess it depends on the hospital.

2 sets of PJ's and just a few pads - I used teh hospital's last time and actually still have some from 2 years ago!
