How do you prepare your frozen veggies?

I buy frozen veggies a lot as a side dish for dinner b/c its so easy to just defrost and serve but I'm running out of ideas on how to prepare them.

Here's how I normally make them but I'm looking for some new ways:
frozen broccoli & spinach: lemon, garlic powder and salt
frozen stringbeans: vinegar, salt and garlic powder
corn: butter and salt
cauliflower: butter and salt

any suggestions?Chat Icon

Honestly... we love the frozen veggies in the steamer bags. Just put it in the microwave for 5 mins and they come out perfect. Now that have with sauces mixed in, but I never buy that. Sometimes I just squeeze fresh lemon juice on it

I prefer the Trader Joes frozen veggies and I just put them frozen into a saucepan with 1/2 inch of water and cook/steam that way. Takes just a couple mins. I like them all plain.

I usually just boil them in a little bit of water and season with butter and salt.
DH doesn't like a lot of veggies, so it's pretty much corn, string beans and peas. I like broccoli, season with salt and lemon, brussel sprouts with salt and butter.

String beans sometimes get made into a salad with potatoes, scallions and a lemony vinaigrette, served warm.
