how long do u wat at the peds office?

Hi. my baby is almost 2 months old and so we have been to the pediatricians office 3 times. each time for well baby visits and we had to wait for over an hour.
I feel like this is too long to wait, but am not sure if this is standard. whar are your thoughts/experiences??

I think the longest we have ever waited was 20 minutes or so. And that is rare, usually we walk right in. for a well or a sick visit.

We always have an appointment and have to wait at least 30+ minutes

The ped I had prior to this had the same situation. I was there for almost 2 hours. I left that practice.

I now wait for anywhere from 5-20 minutes.

Usually 5 min. Longest 15 min.

I would never wait an hour.

Usually we go in within 5 minutes of getting there, once I had to wait about 20 minutes - but I also got there 10 minutes early

I don't think I've ever waited longer than 10 mins and esp when she was so young they never made me wait

That is a long wait. We are usually seen pretty quickly but we usually set one of their first appointments.

Usually pretty quick, but there have been a handful of times where we have waiting about an hour or so. I was pretty impatient about it too... as she gets older, its even harder to wait long...

The longest I've waited is maybe 10 minutes. My peds office brings newborns in pretty much right away so they're not around older kids for too long.

10 minutes for a well visit, less for sick visits--they take us right to a room for those.

we wait way too long and i might actually switch practices because of it. i find it so inconsiderate. i wait for well visits and sick visits. and half the time i wait about 30 minutes in the waiting room and then they call us into the room and i wait there for another 30 minutes. i get so ****** everytime i go there.

We always get the 8:45 appointment for Well Visits. We sign in and go straight to a room. The nurse comes in about 5 minutes later, does her thing. Then when she is done the doctor comes in shortly afterwards.

A sick visit we wait usually about 5 minutes in the waiting area and once in the room, the nurse comes right in, does what she has too then the doctor comes right in.

We dont wait very long

when we get there on time - 15-20 mins. but we usually get there early (b/c im a freak about being late.. ) so we usually wait 30-40 mins

at our new PED we walk right in and once we are in the room the max we wait is 5 minutes

Nevor more than 10 minutes and it is rare that I've even waited more than 5 mins.

Usually 5-15 minutes ! Over an hour seems excessive
