Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
30-40 per week on stuff like cold cuts, or some fresh veggies or fruits.
We try to do one excursion to BJ's per month to get our meats in bulk which is a little more...

Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
I got shopping 2x a month and with my coupons, I spend about $150 (not including diapers or formula for the babe)
so ~75/week

Probably close to $200 a week. Family of 4 but we eat probably 98% organic.

Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
We spend about $100 a week for two people. We probably spend at least $30-40 on fruits and vegetables alone. We rarely eat out (maybe one time a month - if that) and always brown bag our lunch.
ETA: This includes household items like paper towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries.

Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
Family of 4 (2 adults, 1 9 year old and 1 6 year old) and I average about 130 a week at the grocery store - not including paper goods and miscellaneous stuff I pick up at the supermarket. BUT.. that's just the grocery. I also hit up the Farmer's Market to the tune of 30/week. And then we go to Costco once a month and spend about 100 in food stuffs.
I buy some pricey stuff though because I like my boys to eat organic for some things..so it jumps up the price a little.

Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
I put 200+ per week....
We are a family of 6+ (The + is my 2 step daughters and my mother who dont live with me but are here frequently and eat our food)
Additionally DH and I usually have 1 night per week where we make a "fancy" meal...Example being King Crab Legs, Filet Mignon, etc. We feel that we dont eat out often so this affords us the meals we enjoy on a budget that we can manage. When we are on austerity it's this meal that is cut from the list.

I voted $80-$100 but really we spend about $50 a week, it's just the 2 of us.

Re: How much do you spend on groceries? (Weekly average)
I must be doing something wrong! I spend about $130 for just 2 adults. I do buy meat and organic and get food for DH's lunch and cat food (for our cats and strays outside) but I don't know why my bill is so high. I use coupons when I have them and go about 3 out of 4 weeks. I need to look at my shopping habits I guess.
