how to stop worrying...
last year i was pregnant and lost the baby due to a chromosome problem. Dr's said it was something that we had no control over and that it just "happened". Now i am almost 6 weeks pregnant and i can't seem to get the worry out of my head. I guess going through something like that makes you realize how much of a miracle it is to have a healthy baby, and all the things that could go wrong DH and i are excited about this baby but extremely cautious and anxious that everything goes ok. I feel like i can't even talk about this baby yet until i know everything is going ok, kwim? I have my first ultrasound on monday, so i can't wait. Sorry, just venting! Noone knows that i'm pregnant so it's hard keeping this all in! It feels like DH and I were robbed of a good/exciting experience.

Re: how to stop worrying...
i am so sorry for ur loss last year. unfortunatly many women on this board have experienced this pain - including myself - twice in 6 months. Mc robs u from the joy of pregnancy. For everyone its different. Dh and i did not discuss anything baby this 3rd time around until we saw our baby on our 12 week sono - even then it was just briefly. at our 17 week sono dh and i saw our little one clapping and playing and found out the gender - it made it so much more real. we talk about him all the time!
U and ur little one are in my prayers. when are u going in for ur first sono? good luck - keep us updated!!!
