I'm so sorry that you had such a bad experience & that they let the sex of the babies slip  It's unaccpetable for her to have treated you that way. I can't believe she didn't even check your chart first!
I was told around the same time that my daughter's kidneys were dilated too. I was told (after they scare the hell out of me first) that it was no big deal. She was born completely healthy.

omg... I am so sorry. What a horrible ordeal and then to have to find out the sex like that.
I would be SO P!SSED!!! A letter is the least of it-- I would call the AMA and file a formal complaint about this doctor. Someone like that should not be practicing medicine.
At the end of the day, at least you know you have two healthy babies.

I am so sorry that you had to deal with this woman who should obviously be practicing elsewhere! Perhaps in the country where her native tongue is spoken!!   It totally bl0ws that you know the sex of the babies esp. since you and DH were so gung ho about not finding out!! I hope your OB ripped this chick a new assshole. On a positive note, I am so happy to hear that the babies are doing great!!

I'm so sorry you had such a horrible experience. Even with twins, I'd think a 20 week baby looks pretty different than a 32 week baby, especially in terms of size. The doctor should've looked at your records. That was really unprofessional. I'd definitely write a letter.

ok - - 1st of all I am so sorry u r dealing with this. I dealt w/ a smiliar heartaching situation b/c of jerkoffs at my level 2 sono. I may sue them once baby is born b/c of they way i was treated, asking me to consider terminating baby and i have 3 weeks to decide b/c of a NY STATE law.... anyway, my life was a living helll.
let me just tell u to not mess around w/ these jerkoffs on Long Island when something can or cannot be an issue.
I called my RE, dr hershlag, b/c i know he is one of the smartest people around (even tho his job was already done). he sent me directly to a dr at
NYU medical center. this guy has 4d sono machines, wrote tons of books on maternal fetal medicine and sonos etc.
Please please please FM and go see him.
put it this way... in 2 days my whole life was turned around from considering termination to being a happy mom to be again. also, i took all my slides to an amazining ped urologist and he agreed w/ NYU doc. so listen, go see this doc and ped urologist (if nec) these rad. drs are idiots. no offense..... NOT
the woderful dr at NYU is Dr. Timore- Tisch. look him up. honestly, i will never get another sono anywhere else but w/him.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but you cannot sue for that. I work for a med mal attorney
