I feel like im abusing my child...
She just hates bath time so much. I thought i would try not using the infant/toddler tub, i scrubbed the regular tub while she slept, filled a bubble bath with all her toys and got her a baby doll with a hard body that she could play with and bathe during her bath. After i filled it i went and got her and as soon as she saw the water was in the gub she just about clawed my skin to get away but she smelled, i had to put her in. I i washed her body and hair as fast as i could as she was trying to pull my shirt off to get out of the tub, i felt like such a horrible mommy forcing a bath on her. I hope this phase ends soon. She loves water, she plays with the water whne we wash her ahnds after meals, just not a bath i guess.

How old is she now?
I would do it on a daily basis now so that she gets used to it.

DD went through a phas of hating the bath for a while too-every bath was tops 3 minutes and she screamed the whole time. It got better eventually!

this is why we started taking DD1 into the shower with us at 6 months old. She is 3 now and has only started liking baths about 2-3 months ago. She still prefers showers.

does she like the shower at all? DS showers with me or DH way more often than he gets a bath (mostly bc of time constraints)

maybe have her sit in the bathroom with you and help get her bath set up maybe have her throw her toys into the tub while you fill up the water make it a game or her part of it maybe then it will be easier on you

do you always use bubble bath? I had been so excited to give DS his first bubble bath but he SCREAMED...he's afraid of the bubbles
