I have created a monster!
Today when I was out with the kids we passed 3 garage sales. They asked what they were and I explained how they work. Both my kids came home and have made piles of toys they want to "sell" at our garage sale I wasn't planning on having one at all

My parents had one this past summer before they moved. I brought over a bunch of things to sell and half never made it to the tables because my kids saw and pitched a fit and said they still play with the things!  Now every time my DD sees a bag of clothes or toys, she begs me not to sell her stuff

My kids love yard sales...for buying even more crap...they have NO desire to sell the stuff they already have
