I think she is harsh to her DH AND her kids. She is a control freak with major OCD, IMO. Did you ever see the gum episode? She behaved horribly

Honestly i think with 8 kids, you'd have to be OCD to get daily things accomplished and not have your life be in complete shambles.

There is a difference between being organized and neat, and making your DH clean up the activities with the kids while they are still doing them! One episode, they are carving pumpkins, and before they are even done she made them clean it up.

I don't think she's a monster they're making her out to be. I think she's very stressed and she got more than she bargained with her show. I think she's very real, she's shows us exactly how she is and she is not putting up a "happy family" front. I feel bad for her, One kid is hard enough I can't imagine 8!
