Still every 7 min. I'm currently walking perimeters. I hope nothing is wrong.

Maybe the dr will strip my membranes later. I hope. Chat Icon

Re: i seriously have the most stubborn unborn child... EVER!

I told DH this is all his fault - the baby is being wishy-washy like HIM. I make decisions and act on them...DH debates. Chat Icon

I'm trying to keep busy --- just washed all the sheets and towels, watching a baby story and crying my eyes out, straightening the baby room again, double checking my hospital bag, etc.

I've been walking around the house through the contractions - it makes them a little easier.

My biggest fear is that there's no progress tonight at the Dr and they just tell me to go home and keep at this. I'm dizzy, I'm puking, yet this also doesn't seem "real". It almost feels like indigestion. I'm still early (although technically full term), so I highly doubt they'll be willing to discuss induction.

It's nice and cool in here and I'm on my 2nd liter of water, so I'm doing my best to keep hydrated.

If you dizzy I would drink some gatorade and relax and if that doesn't help call your dr. even though you have an appt. Your sugar could be low or your BP high.
As far as the vomiting, part of labor. Your body is getting ready Chat Icon . Some woman vomit, some woman have bowel movements (I had this with contractions and that was interesting) and some woman don't have that.

I also agree with Barbara that you can't go by with what you feel but more so how fast they are coming. With DS I was 5-6cm when I reached the hospital and my contractions were 5 min. apart for an hour lasting 1 min. At that point I couldn't talk through them.

I would be shocked if you didn't progress after all this.

My gut is that you are having this baby either tonight or tomorrow.

Ummm make sure you take your hospital bag and EVERYTHING you need to your appt tonight. I have a feeling they will be sending you straight to L&D.... do not pass go, do not collect $200!

Vomiting is a HUGE sign of active labor Chat Icon
Plus the fact that you need to move to make the contractions more bearable I'm pretty sure things are moving along for you.

Keep at it! You're doing great and it looks like you have the encouragement of just not the whole PG board, but the whole entire site!!!
