I know it's prob very frustrating, but it's good for him to cook a little longer- you're just full term (37 weeks) today, right??
According to her profile, she is 10 days from her due date, so 38 weeks, 4 days.

Headed home.
3 1/2 cms
Contractions still every 6-7 min.
Instructed to go to hosp if 4-5mins apart. Not a minute sooner.
Internal was a little rough.
If it makes you feel better at my 41 week appointment I was still closed up and I went into labor 12 hrs later.
I am rooting for tomorrow.. Then Sadie and tiny man will be exactly 6months apart!

Hopefully the internal stirred things up a bit!

i'm technically 37 wks today, BUT we suspect my dates were off. He measured large all along...due date was changed to 7/30.
countdown currently says
Countdown 7 Days 1 Hours

He's already a ladies man.
NONE of the baby books said anything about this! Seriously, who knew you could be in early, yet active labor for so long?! Dr even said this could go for weeks?!??!

I'm in the same boat. I've been contracting for days now but I dont think I've dilated any more than I was on Friday. Dr said she would consider me in "early labor" but hospital wont admit me until I'm 4cm.
I feel like I could go on like this until my due date and have to be induced anyway  I'm going to try squats, walking, stairs, and s e x today. I'm pulling out all the stops -- I want this kid out!!!!

So not to um burst your bubble, my mom was in labor like you are describing with me for 2 weeks. Knowing what I know now, I feel horribly for putting her through that. I really really hope you are going to have baby hippo soon!

I keep coming back to this thread hoping to see your sister post instead of you...
this is the longest part of pregnancy. the 8.5 months are about a minute long compared to the last days.
It will be so soon, I swear (even if it feels like forever)!!
